US singer Rihanna reveals she is originally from Igbo tribe

Igbo is one of the largest ethnic groups in Africa and dominant tribe in Nigeria. In Igbo tribe today, influential women like Chimamanda Adichie, Prof. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala have laid an everlasting impact on nation-building and achieved extraordinary things.

Rihanna, in an exclusive interview, revealed what her mother told her about her Origin. She was quoted saying, “My mom told me that I am originally an Igbo woman. Igbo is a tribe in Africa,”

Well, a lot of Nigerians on social media wants to Rihanna to return back to her origin and enjoy the beauty and blessing of the land.

Recently, Rihanna was officially recognised the wealthiest female musicians in the world by world renowned magazine, Forbes.

According to Forbes, Rihanna’s net worth is estimated at $1.7 billion. Rihanna is a fashion designer and business woman.
