The Rise, Peak, And Decline Of A Talent (Sean Tizzle Focus)

The Rise, Peak, And Decline Of A Talent (Sean Tizzle Focus)

What is it about artistes who rise to limelight and just vanish mysteriously?

The industry is getting hot by the day as Everyone seems to be rootless.

Those who create trends are easily left far behind if they refuse to follow closely and also be innovative with their trends.

Today, we take a closer look at the sensational, and one of the few pioneers of Love songs in Nigeria Music industry Sean Tizzle.

Sean Tizzle is arguably one of the big talents in the Nigerian music industry.

At a point, he undoubtedly swept off the raves of the moment back then when he was introduced.

Let’s take a close insight on the level of success he attained and how he has failed to keep up to standard.

The Rise

After studying Theatre Arts at the University of Ibadan. He grew up in two major cities, (Lagos and Ibadan) in Nigeria.

He started with a group called 3-Way Band. Initially he was a rap artiste but he changed after discovering how good his voice was for singing and inspiration.

According to him he hustled his way out like every other upcoming artiste would before he got into the limelight.

When it comes to debut albums that have left a major impact like never before on the Nigerian music scene, there are a few that readily comes to mind.

While albums like 2face’s ”Face2Face” or Wande Coal’s ”Mushin2MoHits” evoke mind-blowing nostalgic reactions despite their different eras

Another one that had a huge influence on the scene was Sean Tizzle‘s ”The Journey” album released in 2014, a golden cut that replicated the template pushed forward by the other albums but now hugely reflected the urban sound and style of his own times.

The Peak

Sho Le marked his mainstream arrival especially as he went on to win the much Anticipating Next Rated award at the 2013 edition of The Headies, a year where he was nominated alongside the likes of Burna Boy, Dammy Krane, Seyi Shay and Phyno.

His songwriting and vocal skills were close to flawless and in an era where he was no longer an art-form to cherish, it was welcoming to hear someone who was actually putting thoughts to his words.

Sean Tizzle could have gotten the best of Tiwa Savage with his hit single “Igi Orombo” back then but i guess he never had the follow up spirit.

As If Sho le was the only Hit he has, he served us Perfect Gentleman, Mama EhKilogbeTake It,  Loke LokeRara and so much more

Sean Tizzle’s run at the time was nearly unmatched, every song was a hit, his sonic trajectory upped the existing standards and his name was already mentioned as a future great, but sadly that has not exactly worked according to script.

The Fall

After presenting the perfect partnership with D’Tunes the success of Sean’s debut album was no surprise as it seemed impossible for anything to go wrong with the duo.

His record label, Difference Entertainment owner signed five new artists to the label, Q-Dot, Bad Boy Ace,and others with reports suggesting that these signings didn’t exactly go down well with Tizzle.

With this, the focus on Sean Tizzle started dropping

Sean Tizzle has been the subject of a lot of embarrassing trends on social media lately. A situation for which you will agree with me that his image seems to be battered at the moment.

One of such was the repeated show of displeasure and disgust from fans about the singer bleaching his skin. Pictures of his hands being dark while other parts of his skin are lighter went viral on social media.

He then left the country for a while and not long after, he launched his independent platform, Tizzle Nation and started working with other producers. Some of which couldn’t handle his production as his former producer

Since then, Sean Tizzle has been relegated to a rising act. Sometimes it is better to stick to what you know how to do best, but with different interesting flavours though.

Shortly after this incident, a video also surfaced online where he walked out during an interview where again the subject of him bleaching was raised.

With his Unending pride, uncompromising opinions, at-times entitlement and a rapidly changing music industry where fans now had more power than usual, he just could not catch a break

Most especially with Tweets like this:-

Gradually, The Brand Sean Tizzle Sunk beyond Anyone’s expectation.

Does this mean the end of the Singer rapper?

What could be Wrong with Sean Tizzle? Could he be having problems adjusting to the trends?

Could he be one of the very much over hyped artistes of all times?

Whatever could be the reason for the reason for the long silence or decline in relevance.

We all wish Sean Tizzle all the best in what he is doing.

The industry miss You. and we do too.

What Do You Think Is Wrong With Him?

Could He Be Finding It Hard To Adapt To New Trends?
